Midnight Ministries' Dream Diary

When a prophet of the LORD is among you, I reveal Myself to him in visions, I speak to him in dreams (Numbers 12:6, NIV).
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches (Rev 2:7).

What Jesus said there may apply to everyone to one degree or another.
Likewise, some of these dreams may contain a message to you, about spiritual aspects in your life which you need to take a look at.

This diary contains many of the dreams we have received from 1997 to the present.

The following account was sent in by a brother in the Philippines:

Visionary Experiences of Spiritual Life Ahead

...About the vision and dreams when I was about 13 during the Japanese Imperial army occupation of the Philippines in 1943, if I remember correctly....

I was sleeping with my two older brothers in our house and store beside a railroad station where my father worked as the station master. We were ten brothers and sisters living with you parents in that store.

The vision I saw momentarily, after waking up with an eerie feeling, was of a person in a coat in a 2ft x 2ft picture frame like square, lifting his right hand and making a blessing- like sign to me and disappearing immediately so with the eerie feeling.

I didn't know what it was. But one thing I know, I covered myself completely with the blanket the rest of the night! Hearing from boys my own age about ghost stories, I thought that it was a ghost and I didn't tell anyone.

This was followed by several eerie, restless, listless nights, when I would wake up feeling doleful, with feelings of doom as if under judgement for having committed offences and sin. I would get up from bed, go down to the house and sit leaning against the back wall of the railroad station and look heavenward for an answer until 10 or 20 minutes later, when normal feelings returned and I would slowly go back to the house and sleep. With only a Catholic background, and because I didn't tell anyone, I could only groan in spirit.

Later on these nightmarish experiences died down and were replaced by exhilarating dreams of being able to run and leap so fast that I could outdistance my pursuers.

I joined a local church group which call themselves Iglesia Ni Christi or Church of Christ, a very small, poor, persecuted church; for our meeting place was often stoned by members of the larger Catholic groups, identical with Catholic ritual and doctrine, but independent from Rome like the Church of England.

When US liberation forces liberated the Philippines in 1944-45, I joined the Methodist Church, trying out many protestant denominations before I joined the WCG in 1973. [Since, then, the correspondent has come out of the WCG, and is moving head in Spirit and in Truth.]

Summary and comment:

The vision you received at age 13 portrayed beforehand, your spiritual journey in life.

First, you grew up under demonic oppression, in the grip of Catholicism. Demons would disturb your sleep and give you awful feelings to try to make you feel condemned. As you looked towards heaven, they would diminish. So, it is in real life: as we look towards God, He delivers us from the grip and oppression of evil.

Later, your exhilarating dreams of being able to run and leap, depict how God has led you step by step out of Catholic error and domination, until your present situation. Now you can "outdistance your pursuers".

This has a dual significance:

1) The Spirit of God living in you delivers you from the grip of demonic bondages. Demonic strongholds or bondages are the means by which the devil holds people back, preventing them 'running' spiritually, or even moving forward!

2) Because of your spiritual advancement -- which is in and through humility -- you now know more than your former teachers (Ps 199:99; 1 Jn 2:27).

This is the prophetic cry to all the people of God at this time: to come out of error, false teaching, and subservience to men and man-dominated religion; to be led by the Spirit and find complete freedom in Christ.

Awake, awake, O Zion, clothe yourself with [spiritual] strength. Put on your garments of splendour [pure doctrine and practice], O Jerusalem, the holy city. The uncircumcised and defiled [many spiritually defiled people in churches, especially amongst the leaders] will not enter you again. Shake off your dust; rise up, sit enthroned, O Jerusalem. Free yourself [there is personal responsibility in this deliverance] from the chains in your neck, O captive daughter of Zion. For this is what the Lord says: 'You were sold for nothing, and without money you will be redeemed.' (Is 52:1-3, NIV.)

April 22/02. Kassahun Ayele. ‘Hide’ In The Almighty!
I heard a voice from afar. It says, ''The end has come! The end has come! Hide in the Almighty! Hide in the Almighty." [When God repeats things it's for EMPHASIS. It emphasises the importance of heeding, and the certainty of what is coming, that humans cannot see!]
Meaning: You need to intensively prepare for what is shortly ahead!! The Great Tribulation, the worst time in earth’s history will be soon. The only safe passage through this time of horrors is to be close to God, completely reliant upon Him.
