Man's sixth sense, the age old method of determining the
presence of underground water, minerals, pipes etc. by dowsing, can be
corroborated by the latest technology. But because people in the past have
not been able to understand how the dowser can detect these factors,
it has been relegated to the realm of mysticism, or even the occult!
If anyone today considers such a medieval approach valid,
then by the same token they should also regard electricity, magnetism,
gravity and their radio and TV with equal distrust.
One church member asked Harry Sullivan why the Heaps were
'out' of the church. He replied succinctly, in one word, "dowsing".
But that is a lie! They were not disfellowshipped for
dowsing. They were disfellowshipped for contravening Sullivan's
directive not to talk about Geopathic stress with anyone, including their
friends.
But for some reason he also took exception to dowsing,
claiming that dowsing for health reasons was demonic, or getting involved in
'suspect' areas. They asked for proof of this supposition, but none was
forthcoming. They also requested a directive on dowsing from HQ in Pasadena,
but they received no reply. Again they were totally ignored. It seems the
ministry feel they are above having to prove anything. Yet the Bible
tells us to prove all things (I Thes. 5:21).
So the Heaps did. Malcolm researched dowsing, even using
a textbook recommended by Paul Suckling, entitled, "Divining", by
Christopher Bird, which is available in many libraries. In it he discovered
that there were valid explanations for the phenomenon and that there are in
fact several levels of dowsing, physical, electromagnetic and spiritual.
He also discovered that spiritual dowsing can be
effectively employed to control and cast out demonic forces. Then how can it
be demonic itself? Christ pointed out that demons cannot cast out other
demons (Luke 11:15-20). It is the Spirit of God that does that. [The
reason the Heaps were victimised is because the demons controlling Suckling
and Sullivan knew what was ahead, and wanted to try and thwart the formation
of Midnight Ministries. These demons also tried to kill Malcolm and Helena
in a serious car crash in October 1988.]
He [Malcolm] wrote a lengthy, fully-researched report
[see footnote at end] explaining about the dowsing phenomenon, proving that
their involvement in it did not contravene God's Law and that they were
above reproach. Malcolm offered their accusers [the WCG hierarchy] the
proof, but again they didn't want to know. They refused to look at it. They
again ignored the issue.
This is not seeking truth, which we are told to do (Acts
17:11, John 8:32). This is merely maintaining the status quo, for the sake
of control of the membership. God promises us that if we let
Him lead us, He will lead us into all Truth (Jn 16:13). We do
not need a man teaching us, once we are spiritually mature, God's Spirit
will teach us (I Jn. 2:27). These are not my words, they are God's. They are
in your Bible. Whom are you going to follow?
In all their dealings with the church administration no
one has proved Malcolm and Helena wrong. Indeed, no one has even tried to
prove them wrong. They know that the Heaps are right in the issues
involved, but they dare not reveal their own duplicity.
The time has come to EXPOSE the cover-up that has been
going on in the church for far too long. It is now a year since the Heaps
were pushed out. If you want to know why the church is floundering at this
time, the answer is clear in your Bible. "Judgement is turned away backward,
and justice stands afar off; for truth is fallen in the street, and equity
cannot enter. Yes, truth fails, and he that departs from evil makes himself
a prey. And the Eternal saw it and it was evil in His eyes, that there was
no judgement." (Is. 52:14-15).
God will not support a church that denies truth and that
denies Him!
We are writing to you now, because YOU as a member of the
Worldwide Church of God have to make a choice in these circumstances.
Whether to follow men, who no longer follow God's Word, or to follow God.
Both Paul Suckling and Harry Sullivan have fostered a
campaign of vicious persecution against, not only the Heaps, but certain
others who have been faithful to God rather than the instruction of men.
Such people have become the subject of malicious gossip about them, which is
untrue. In the case of Paul Suckling this has been going on for many years.
They have fabricated lies and behaved deceitfully in order to cover up for
their wrong doing and their unwillingness to seek truth.
Such behaviour does not befit ministers of God. Satan is
the father of lies (Jn. 8:44), he was a liar from the beginning and it is
because of such 'fruits' in these men that they have been marked, according
to scripture (Rom. 16:17-18) as false ministers (II Cor 11:13), ministers of
Satan. They do not protect God's sheep, but are merely hirelings (Jn
10:12-13). They have not entered by the Door into the sheepfold (Jn. 10:1).
Christ warned us to beware of such men, and to be able to
recognise them for whom they are (Matt. 7:15-20). You are commanded to
discern their 'fruits', otherwise you will be deceived by their clever words
(II Pet. 2:3).
False teachers have been predicted to seduce God's people
(I Pet. 2:1, Acts 20:28-30). The antichrist has been both without and within
the church to test us (Dan 11:32-35) to prove God's people, to see
whether they will keep God's Word (Rev. 3:8) or whether they prefer
to follow men masquerading as ministers of Christ. That is a test of
our spirituality. Those converted and led by God's Spirit will
recognise the enemy within, those not led by God's Spirit will fall prey to
their clever subtleties that the Bible calls doctrines of demons (I Tim
4:1).
You must test the spirits (I Jn 4:1).
Are you following a man who expounds the love of
God, or a man who preaches words that sound like the truth of God,
but which are just vain words?
In I Tim. 4:1-2 we are warned, "Now the Spirit speaks
expressly that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving
heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in
hypocrisy, having their conscience seared with a hot iron".
The words, "speaking lies" have been rendered from the
Greek pseudologos. It is the ONLY place in the New Testament where
this expression is used. The usual Greek term for lies is pseudos.
Pseudologos in the context of hypocrisy is a unique expression to convey
a subtlety God wants the worthy reader to discern.
Satan is extremely clever, far more so than our human
minds, and he can twist the truth merely by introducing subtleties of
meaning that ordinarily we cannot discern. Satan's ministers preach words
that SOUND LIKE God's truth, but are not. They are subtle renderings of the
real thing. And only those who are AWAKE spiritually will get the feeling
after hearing them that something is not quite correct.
Doctrines of demons are hypocritical teachings that sound
like the original truth, but doctrines that have been very subtly altered –
counterfeits! (More on these later).
The material in Paul Suckling's sermon of 9/9/89
contained such subtle counterfeits, clever sounding expressions and
teachings, many of which were not Biblical. He did not use the Bible to
prove his point of view. And the opinions he expressed cannot be supported
Biblically – they are counterfeits of the real truth. In fact, doctrines of
demons.
Analyse when have you heard these men truly expound the
love of God? Never! When did you hear them preach on faith, love, the gifts
of God's Spirit, the POWER of God? Rarely, if ever!
They deny the power of God and from such you are
commanded in scripture to turn away (II Tim 3:5).
A man who lies is not to be trusted.
When Harry Sullivan announced to the congregation that Mr
and Mrs Parkinson did not want to fellowship anymore with Worldwide Church
of God members, he LIED! That was a half-truth. What he failed to tell the
congregation is that the way he treated them so offended them that they
didn't want to attend church where he was present, but they did want
to fellowship with the members, at the time.
When Harry Sullivan in private conversation to another
church member (gossip!) said that the Heaps were put out of the church for,
"dowsing", he LIED!
When he said [to the Heaps] "I have been working to try
to help you resolve difficulties...", he LIED!
Neither he nor Paul Suckling have cared to address any of
the issues the Heaps raised. The ministry have consistently IGNORED the
issues, using their illicit power and authority to crush the voice of the
innocent. TRUTH and equity fail.
Malcolm Heap has challenged them to an open confrontation
before the congregation so that the church as a whole can determine who is
being LED by God. But they are silent and withdraw into their holes. They
are cowards, who are afraid of the truth, and terrified their misconduct
will be exposed.
It is now a year since the Heaps were callously booted
out of the church. In most of that time they waited patiently for justice to
prevail. [They are still waiting, now 8 years later!] They have waited for
Mr McCullough to discipline those responsible for causing DIVISION in the
Body of Christ. But he has not acted according to scripture. He has covered
up misdemeanours and flagrant abuse of church members, in order to maintain
control.
If the right course of action had been followed by those
in power, this unpleasant but necessary course of action in exposing such
moral abuse could have been avoided, and the matter would have remained
covered.
God says, "he that justifies the wicked and he that
condemns the just, they are both abomination to the Eternal." (Pr.
17:15 and 18:5)
H. Sullivan stated in his letter to Malcolm and Helena
Heap of 3/12/90 that, "the church has made an ecclesiastical decision to
disfellowship you both for cause."
NO IT HAS NOT! The administration of the church might
like to think it has, but it hasn't. The Church was not informed, and it
certainly was not given the facts of the case so they could arrive at an
ecclesiastical decision.
The church – or "ecclesia" (meaning "called out ones") is
composed of ALL the members, not just the ruling junta. To assume that the
'junta' in control has the prerogative to make such decisions is highly
questionable. If Christ said, this lording it over others "shall not be so
among you" (Matt. 20:26) the 'junta' needs the approval of the whole
membership before disfellowshipping any. In the case mentioned in I Cor. 5
the membership did not disapprove of the disciplinary measure recommended by
Paul (II Cor. 2:6).
The members are just as much part of the church as the
administration, if not more so. For without the grass-roots members
there would be no administration!
You have not been made aware of the issues behind the
Heaps' excommunication, so you are unable to arrive at an objective decision
whether the administration have been justified in their actions! There needs
to be some sort of tribunal for equity to be attainable. Yet that has been
denied all concerned. By excommunicating them, they deny them contact with
other members so that the true facts of their case cannot be heard, and only
Sullivan's or Suckling's side of the story is ever listened to.
Such 'policing' of the church has been condemned by Mr
Tkach in previous WWN personals and is against church policy. But nothing is
done to discipline the perpetrators of such injustice. It is also UNBIBLICAL
(Is. 5:23, Pr. 17:15).
By expelling faithful members from the church, rather
than admitting and repenting of their own guilt, the ministry have caused
the whole church to come under a curse. Tragedies have struck already. God
will permit more until people wake up to what is happening.
Proverbs 18:18 explains how they could have solved this
argument or contention. It is very simple. They should have first gone to
God to ask who was right in this dispute, instead of relying on their own
judgement (Pr. 3:5). The Bible is unequivocal on this point. "...lean not
unto your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will
direct your paths" (Pr. 3:5-6).
The problem could have been solved overnight.
But the administration did not acknowledge God, or that
God may have been trying to tell them something in all that transpired. They
did not pray for and seek equity and truth in such events. Their intent was
to preserve their position, their power, their pride, their status, their
CONTROL. Such behaviour will ultimately fail.
We are now in the last times immediately prior to the
second coming of Christ. Christ pictures Himself OUTSIDE Laodicea (Rev.
3:20) knocking at the door. He is no longer among them because they have
excluded Him from their lives. They blindly follow custom, tradition – the
way they have always done things!
The tradition which says a minister is always right in
preference to a member. The tradition which upholds whatever the minister
says, regardless of the truth, because he is in 'authority'. The tradition
which regards him as 'above' the members. The tradition which puts him on a
pedestal, so the membership look up to him, adore him and even worship him!
Traditions such as these are totally unbiblical, and are
traditions which STINK in God's sight!!
It is no coincidence that the only two words [actually
there are others, but these two are highly salient] in the New Testament
that numerically in the Greek (the language of preservation of the inspired
text) amount to 666 are "wealth" and "tradition". You can check it yourself
in Ivan Panin's work.
By relying on her wealth and tradition instead of God's
Spirit, the administration of the Worldwide Church of God has become a tool
of the very spirit that controls the apostate church of Revelation 17.
It is for this reason that the Worldwide Church
of God now faces a crisis! If the infidels are not expelled from within, the
whole church will be spewed out of the mouth of Jesus Christ!!
(Rev. 3:17). God help you to heed.
Tradition is only fine so long as it is based on the Word
of God.
