On 9th July 1997, Helena was shown in a dream what God
thinks of WCG services. The people were given little boxes as they came in,
like toy boxes. They were getting ready for a service, but when the time for
the service began all the people went by themselves into another room where
they kept themselves busy like small children in kindergarten having a happy
hour. It was just like playtime.
There was lack of order and lack of direction. They had
no concept that they should have been receiving spiritual teaching.
The Meaning of the Dream
Spiritually the WCG is so liberal, but people go along
with it. There is lack of true spiritual direction. There is a vacuum of
true leadership.
The result in members’ minds tends to be: "It doesn't
matter what you believe any more. Let the church decide and we will do what
we want." This approach accommodates all the faulty doctrines without
causing upset within the organisation.
Gone are the days when zeal for truth was the hallmark of
the WCG in contrast to many of the churches from which it differed. Now
there is lack of zeal for scriptural truth. They don't care where they are
going or how they are going to get there.
What God is saying is that in the WCG there is weak
leadership which does not teach truth any more. They just let the people
play around spiritually. And there is childish membership, who don’t want
adult truth!
What God Says
God is saying to Worldwiders:
Be not tossed
to and fro by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning
craftiness of deceitful plotting [there has been plenty of that in the
WCG!] (Eph 4:14, NKJV).
You should stand on your own two feet, spiritually
speaking, relying upon only One – Jesus Christ. The WCG talks much about
Christ, but exhibits less and less of His truth and proper behaviour.
It’s ironic that during the Armstrong era, he (and others
who adopted the same wrong approach) castigated other churches for speaking
about Christ, while they (the WCG) failed to teach what Jesus taught. It
gave him great personal satisfaction to criticise these other believers who
"were just too deceived to see the truth that God had revealed through Mr
Armstrong."
Now the church has turned full circle. It now embraces
the heretical doctrines it formerly castigated, and preaches about
Christ while it denies the truth Jesus taught.
Funny how things change!
The winds of change have blown a gale in the Worldwide.
And helpless people within seem unable to anchor themselves to the truth.
While the truth is being swept aside, they are more keen to hold onto the
physical structure of the church than hold on to the truth it is allowing to
be blown away!
Jesus predicted that the rains would fall, the floods
would come, and the winds would blow and beat upon your house. It won’t fall
if it is founded upon the Rock (Matt 7:25).
But too many Worldwiders have pitched their tents on the
sand, while they think they’re bedded on the Rock. The tornado has come,
sucked them up into it, and they don’t even know! Things are peaceful and
calm within. They don’t see that they are in the very eye of the storm! They
think they are in the protection of God. Poor souls! It’s quiet and serene
within the church, in the midst of this satanic turbulence. The arguments
are raging more fiercely outside, where people care about accurate
scriptural truth.
But where will the tornado ditch them? When it decides to
release them where will they find themselves? Without a home, without
knowing where they are, lost and forlorn!
As Jeremiah said long ago:
The prophets
prophesy falsely; the priests rule by their own power; and My people love to
have it so. But what will you do in the end? (Jer 5:31, NKJV).
