Dream Diary relating to the WCG (Part 7)
< Part 6 | Part 8 >
When a prophet of the Lord is among you, I reveal Myself to him in visions, I speak to him in dreams (Numbers 12:6, NIV).
(H = Helena’s dream. M = Malcolm’s dream, etc.)
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches (Rev 2:7).
These are merely SOME of the revelations in dreams which concern the Worldwide Church of God (WCG).
Earlier dreams are contained in the book Dreams From God About The WCG.
Most People Shut The Door On Truth
18th Nov 2008. H. People shut the door on truth.
(In real life) I gave some literature to a young man from a Catholic background. He took it out of politeness.
Then God showed me in a dream about him: I walked down the lane and gave a present to someone in the house. He opened the door and then quickly shut it.
Meaning: Many people are like this. When new truth comes along, they quickly shut the door on it. They would rather live their old way, than let God into their lives!
MM’s 1100
9th March 2009. M. 1100.
God told me to buy an Austin 1100 (in the dream, not in real life). So, as I drove along the road, with two others with me in the car, I kept on the lookout for an 1100 (it is rare to see one today). Suddenly I saw one; it was light coloured, either pale grey or off-white or buff. It pulled off the main road into a small road in front of a large old property.
I was told to ask for the ‘Reverend’, and went up to the front door. However, I found that the front door had been blocked up with stonework. But the bell was still there so I pressed the bell push. Someone came to a doorway that I hadn’t previously seen some 10 feet to my left. It was the ‘Reverend’. He was a young man with black hair, thin beard (more like stubble), and somewhat scruffy. He was casual, laid back. I told him that I was looking to buy an 1100 and wondered if he was willing to sell his. He said he was and gave me the keys.
As I went off with my friends to try out the car, I thought how strange it was that he didn’t want to come with me, or to have some security in exchange. After all, I could have driven off with the car without paying for it. The dream ended there.
Meaning: A depiction of God passing to me the divine assignment that He once gave to the WCG (which is represented by the old building). 11 is a numeric symbol of inspired writing. God has inspired, throughout history, various people to write things in order to restore His truths. He gave the WCG a divine mandate to publish the truth about God’s Sabbath, which Christendom has neglected or rejected, and of His holy days. But that ‘doorway’, the WCG blocked up, and moved more ‘to the left’, portraying their move into doctrinal liberalism. The distance of 10 feet illustrates the fact that the move is human, not divine.
The WCG has become like all the mainstream apostate churches in accepting elevated ministry titles such as ‘Reverend’. This man’s young age portrays the WCG’s lack of spiritual maturity. His stubble and laid back manner are allegories of their spiritually casual approach. His black hair is a symbol of sinfulness covering the mind.
There is much in the WCG that is so wrong, and which has been illustrated in many other dreams which God has given us over the years about this decadent and now worldly ‘church’.
Comment: To those who do not know about the commission God has given to me – I did not ask for it, did not seek it, did not want it, but I had to accept it, and now I do it willingly – God gave me the task of compiling a written foundation of biblical teaching with accurate biblical exegesis, to make God’s truth plain and to restore it (where churches have defiled it by mishandling His precepts). This is explained in Dreams and Visions From God.
The preparation for this work began when I was 15, and continued for the next 25 years. Then, when I was 40 God ushered me into it without me knowing. That was in 1989. Only a few years later could I see what God was doing.
God then confirmed this commission to various people across the globe whom He brought into contact with us. He gave them revelations about it, even though they were having a hard time accepting the fulness of what I wrote. As one example, I received this letter from Nicholas Odero in Kenya:
11th October 2004
Dear Malcolm, [M’s comments in square brackets.]
God gave me this dream on the 2nd of this month:
I was in Nigeria with David Isaac Ohuoba. [David has raised people from the dead through God’s power. He uses MM literature to teach people and build up their faith in God.] Many people were coming to us for literature. I saw that I spent one week there preaching the gospel.
On the 6th I dreamed that I was somewhere like a supermarket. [Represents how preachers are merchandising God’s gospel truth – people shop around to get what they want – corrupt!] It seems like I was working there.
Suddenly I saw you with Helena. [We will be revealed to the world suddenly, through publicity as God raises 50 people from the dead.] Then I heard a voice telling me, “This is the man I have chosen to restore all things to the Church.” [These are the days of Elijah – the prophesied restoration at the End!]
Then I heard another voice telling somebody to give you two cups of honey [2 years of sweet revival]. After that I did not see you again. [I will go when my task is done, like Elijah did, although not in the same way as Elijah, of course.]
May God bless you... Nicholas

Lady Looking Like An Indian
19th May 2009. H. Asian face.
We went to visit a couple who were part of our former church. The lady had an Indian appearance.
Meaning: We had an inquiry from a lady who was once in the WCG. The Indian appearance reflects her spiritual state. She is unconverted. There are many religious people in India, but the country is full of paganism. God is drawing a parallel. She is religious, but needs to be converted.
Churches hold people in spiritual poverty, denying them spiritual freedom. Cults even prevent them being converted! The Spirit is shut out, and human leadership takes the Spirit’s place. They end up following church (cult) leaders, listening to them, instead of following the Spirit and hearing from Jesus.
God’s Great Mountain
18th May 2009. M. The Great Mountain.
I was given what seemed to be a new place / home. It had the most marvellous view! It overlooked a majestic mountain with a large lake in the foreground, between our house and the mountain. So there was a double image of it, with the mountain reflected on the smooth, glass-clear water surface. It was a perfect reflection of the mountain on the water.
This mountain was no ordinary mountain! It was so ornate! It was high and majestic, magnificent and awesome, with the most amazing blues, reds, purples and other colours making up its face. These colours were out of this world. I’ve never seen colour like it!
The rock had vertical striations and deep fissures. It was very craggy, yet beautiful. From a distance these features gave it a highly textured appearance. It was full of wonder. I’d never seen a sight like it!
I went to get Helena to share this amazing sight with her. It was so exhilarating to look at it!
I also wanted to share this view with others, but not all were that interested.
Meaning: An allegory of the Kingdom of God, and of the reflection of its awesome beauty and truths in MM literature.
Words do not do justice to the wonder of the image I saw!
Resentful And Argumentative
28th June 2009. M. WCG minister argumentative.
X turned up and I saw him doing something in the corner of our big room. Apparently he had talked to Helena. He had his back to me. I wondered whether to ignore him at first, or whether to go and greet him. I decided to go and say ‘hello’. I was affable and wanted to befriend him, but something he said showed that he resented me. He talked down to me. So I tried to tell him that we had spent hundreds of thousands of pounds “trying to get these people released”, whilst he and the rest of the WCG blocked it all the time! His response was disparaging and dismissive. He bluntly retorted “No you haven’t!” (When he hadn’t got any idea of just how much we bled ourselves to try and reach the minds that those men helped to close!)
He made me furious, but at first my anger was tempered by quick self-examination. My first reaction was to question whether I may have made a mistake in my statement about having spent hundreds of thousands of pounds in trying to deliver those people. I thought about it and realised that it was certainly more than £100,000, but probably not into several hundreds of thousands. But that was not the point! The point was that his attitude was wrong and he was not questioning himself, whereas I was willing to do that. [We must all be willing to question where we might have made mistakes or got things wrong, and then change according to what is right.] In fact, while we tried to deliver Worldwiders from the cultic mindset, we were never paid. The false ministers in that organisation were paid handsome salaries, whilst we received nothing. I have never had a salary for doing this job. (We have had to rely upon God for our provision, and walk by faith.) But if the salary to which I was entitled had been taken into account throughout the past 18 years, the figure would be around £450,000. So my statement of hundreds of thousands was correct, after all.
Church Has No Protection
30th August 2009. M. The building site.
I looked in on a building site. All the workers were NOT wearing hard hats! That was astonishing. They were going about completely preoccupied in their jobs. No one noticed me.
Meaning: The Church and its activities are represented by the building site. Hard hats symbolise one’s protection over one’s head. This is protection from deception. People do not have it because they are not noticing the prophet’s role.
Comment: I wrote an article many years ago entitled The Prophet’s Role in Countering Deception. It’s in Prophets and Prophesying (£2).
CoG Blindness
13th October 2009. M. Trying to reach a CoG person.
In this dream there were various people who were in a state of not knowing where they ‘belonged’ church-wise. They had left their former church affiliation and were not doing much at all, spiritually. They were not moving on, yet they thought they were.
They had a video which they had made and thought very important because, to them, it was the only continuation of “The Work” that they knew. It was a video of scenes over rooftops – nothing much of value at all. Yet they thought much of it.
I wanted to give them spiritually enriching materials that we have published, but it was not easy. They didn’t seem that receptive.
Meaning: The dream is about some people who have ‘lined up with’ a Church of God (CoG).
Comment: We have written much to help CoG folks have their eyes opened spiritually, but prejudice hinders most from taking an objective look. They are so close-minded.
They would do well to read the 50 articles written for the benefit of members and ex-members of the WCG as well as:
- A Message To Worldwiders
- God Speaks To The WCG
- Just What IS ‘The Work’?
- A Message To Sabbatarians, etc.
And then other publications that help them seek God for His gifts of the Spirit, which they have consistently avoided.
WCG People Hold Up God’s Work
21st October 2009. M. The old house.
I was working outside when the postman came. I wanted to give him a letter or packet, but it was inside an old house, which seemed to be Victorian. I had to run upstairs to fetch it. I got it and then ran down to catch up with the postman.
The passageway was narrow, and some people were going the other way. I was rushing to try and catch the postman, who had brought a letter back. It needed to be re-sent and I didn’t want to pay the postage again the second time. On the way some old friends from the WCG met me and wanted to stop and chat. It was annoying because I didn’t want to be held up. In the end I missed the postman. He was gone. So I had to pay the postage all over again.
Meaning: This is an allegory of how we have tried to reach the old church and send them MM publications. First time round, they didn’t listen. I shouldn’t have to pay all over again, but the dream indicates that that is what will happen.
These people have cost us dearly. They should be helping us instead of hindering us!
Hypocritical Ritualists
22nd October 2009. M. 3-hole substitute.
A person was digging three holes in the ground. They did this as an extension or expression of their righteousness. The number 69 was also given.
Meaning: God requires us to be righteous (Rom 6:12-16). Romans 8:4 describes ‘the righteous requirement of the law’. It should be fulfilled in us. Where does this begin? It begins with humbling and our recognition before God of our sinfulness without His Spirit cleansing us and living in us. This change of attitude brings a submission to God’s Spirit, so that we do what is required of us from the heart. Pride is thrown out. The ‘old man’ dies. We no longer live for ourselves, but live for God. That motivation allows God’s Spirit to live within and produce His righteous attitudes and approach. It’s all a matter of the heart.
But, because of innate pride, people resist this process of change. The transformation doesn’t take place. A humble heart does not develop. Instead, the ego is retained and protected, and the human mind responds by doing works as a substitute. In the dream, digging the 3 holes was the substitute human work. It substituted the inner work of the Spirit with an outer work of the flesh – what Paul referred to as “dead works” (Heb 6:1) – something that can be done by human effort that looks good and even makes you feel good.
But it’s hypocrisy, symbolised numerically by 23. Perhaps the 3 x 23 in the dream represents the finality (3) of the process of resistance to God. People can go a long way before coming to true brokenness and repentance.
Do you know that a person can resist God in his spirit – because he harbours pride – while he acknowledges Him very openly. The last thing to surrender to God is the ego. Your inner self means more to you than God – before you are truly ‘broken’.
Self-will and stubbornness protect the ego. People hold onto their pride to varying degrees. Some can be humbled relatively easily, but some hold out against it for years. One man was in ministry for 52 years before he acknowledged his sinfulness and need for the inner cleansing of the Spirit. All he achieved in life – his ministry, the large church he had built by his brilliant preaching (a million dollar institution in the sixties, with upholstered seats, air-conditioning, imported marble statuary, etc.), a radio programme, and his influence in the community – all was an extension of self, an embellishment of his ego. He had cultivated his pride, not crucified it! He had dug ‘three massive holes’! That particular man is mentioned in Demos Shakarian’s book The Happiest People On Earth (p 200). There are many others like him in all walks of life.
Hypocrisy is a vile sin – one of the worst in God’s books – because it is based on pride, the devil’s first sin, and the one with which he infects all his children. If God is to save you, you must be humbled, if you will not humble yourself.
So, let that inner process take place. Don’t resist it. (The article Repentance & Weeping in Inspired By The Spirit Vol 2 may help some in this. Also, Do You Maintain Your Own Integrity? in Don’t Let Satan Steal What Is Yours in Inspired By The Spirit, Vol 6.)

God speaks to His prophets
today just as He spoke to His prophets of old.
One very expressive avenue of communication
is via dreams and visions (Num 12:6).
The leadership of the Worldwide Church of God is under God's
condemnation for:
1) defying Him in their spiritual promiscuity,
2) maintaining their spiritual control over the minds of their subjects, and
3) repudiating the words of the prophets He sends to correct and redirect them.
