Why Britain Will Fall Soon!

This country is about to be taken over! Here’s WHY!

It has much to do with what its government has legalised and its people have accepted! These are just some of society’s evils which this nation tolerates or even approves!

• Abortion. Tearing apart unborn babies is murder – a grotesque crime!

• Legalised homosexuality.
  Sexual deviancy in any form should never be condoned. It undermines the basis of a stable, virtuous society.

• Porn. Unrestrained sexual lust has fuelled the increase in sex crimes and the massive scale of marital breakdown.

• Adultery & Premarital Sex are sin. They weaken the fabric of society and destabilise future generations. All sexual activity out- side of wedlock is illicit; it is sin!

• Injustice - a result of ignoring God’s law.

• Godlessness. Britons worship their pop stars, soccer idols, money, possessions and selfish pursuits – anything other than God!

• Hypocritical religion.  Churchmen promote themselves or their church more than truth!

This nation has forgotten God! It faces collapse.
 

The rise and fall of civilisations is not something which the ‘average’ person takes time to ponder carefully.  You may not have considered why it is that national fortunes wax and wane, or empires come and go.  But there is an underlying sociological factor which affects most major geo-political shifts in power.

Edward Gibbon addressed this in his monument to literature, The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire – a work much treasured by Winston Churchill, who led Britain in the dark years of Europe’s Nazi tyranny.

You may not have thought much about it, but it is something which will affect YOU in your lifetime!

Every past civilisation has declined as its morality has degenerated. It may not have done so immediately.  Demise may have taken generations to complete. But atrophy inevitably sets in when true morals go out.  World powers are brought to their knees when their people throw morality out of the window.

The upholding of ethical standards holds a nation together. It is the backbone of any stable society.

What are morals, and why do we need them?

Morals define right and wrong – what is good, as opposed to what is bad in behaviour or character.

Right morality embraces whatever is correct, virtuous, just or noble. It outlaws what is evil, harmful, unjust, or degrading.

No human society can function without some form of morality. It builds trust. If you cannot trust your partner or your closest friends, you live in a very uncertain and fragile situation. Society falls apart when its moral structure crumbles.

Many people mistakenly think that morals deprive us of what is good. Actually, the reverse it true. It is warped reasoning to think that because the ‘forbidden fruit’ seems enjoyable or desirable, that what is wrong is really right. “It’s just been given a wrong label.”

Nor is immorality justifiable. I’ve yet to meet a person who thinks, when his home is burgled, that the burglar was exercising his rights! It is no different with any other aspect of unacceptable behaviour. Yet people justify their course, however immoral, with humanistic excuses.

If you want to do what is wrong, you can. But don’t delude yourself that it is right, or that there’s no penalty. That’s entirely another matter.

If you rob a shop because you need the money, it doesn’t make it right. The owner may seem to be well off, but it doesn’t mean a price is not paid. Do it often enough and he may go out of business. Someone has to pay the price for your immoral greed.

And that is why each person needs correct morals. They protect everyone in society from what is harmful.

Live by good ethics and things will go well.  Repudiate morality and you actually repudiate life itself!

So, where did morals originate?
How can we know what is right conduct?

Since morality is inextricably bound up with life itself, it is equally important to know where life originated. It is unscientific to assume that life evolved from ‘non-life’. There is no evidence to support such a wildly hypothetical supposition, though millions have great faith in such a theory. But that’s all it is – theory!

If you think your mind is the product of unintelligent chance, given enough time, you are welcome to your ineptitude. But no one would suppose for a moment that a computer just happened to put itself together without any outside intelligent planning! And that is far less complicated than you are!

I choose to believe the more scientific rationale of a Greater Intelligence producing the lesser. That Greater Intelligence reveals the most essential things we need to know which we could not otherwise discern in our physical existence.

We could not know where we came from if it were not revealed to us. You had a beginning, and so did your mind, so you cannot know what came before unless it is revealed to you.

The most important source of knowledge is not history, nor mythology, nor geological strata, but revelation. Yes, Revelation! The One who made life reveals to us where we came from, where we are going, and what we should do in the interim. His instructions to us are found in the Bible.

Some modernists dismiss that claim, but it can be proven. The numerics underlying the original languages of the ancient texts of Scripture demonstrate Supernatural Authorship! Such intricate design is beyond the scope of human contrivance.^[1]

Then there is the remarkable fact of fulfilled prophecies, many of them written hundreds of years before their occurrence. These are subjects worthy of intimate scrutiny.  The Bible is a collection of ancient writings that has been miraculously preserved against all the odds and which carries divine authenticity.

The reason we need it is because of what we can’t perceive without it.

You have a spirit. It generates your life. Without a spirit, you would just be a dead carcass (James 2:26). God has given you that spirit (Romans 8:16) which not only gives you life, but also produces your ability to think, reason, express emotions, will and memory (1 Corinthians 2:11) – all functions which distinguish mankind from animals. Those attributes are not merely the function of your physical brain.

Your brain is smaller than an elephant’s but your powers of intellect are far greater. Why? Because of this non-physical component science and empiricists cannot perceive – spirit.^[2]

0Possessing this spirit, you are drawn into contact with an unseen dimension. Your mind is not just inside your head.  It can also be outside as well. Scientists are well aware that ‘spiritual’ forces emanate from your being, which can affect others, even in far-away places.

You do not live or behave in isolation. Your actions – and even your thoughts – affect others. Similarly, what other people do and think affects YOU.  Hence the need for a moral code to govern human behaviour.

If all humans did what they liked, totally disregarding the interests of others, we would have anarchy – bedlam and disaster!  Societies cease to function when people stop abiding by any moral standard.  That is why every person in society needs morals.

Countries have sociological laws to protect members of society from those who want to behave in a way which would harm others. People need protecting from the antisocial behaviour of others. We all have individual rights which should be upheld. But those rights are only valid when expressed within the parameters of the higher moral code which the Bible reveals. Only the Bible’s laws carry a demonstrable divine mandate.

Morality has a spiritual origin

Moral standards don’t just regulate the physical aspects of our lives. More importantly, but less noticeably, they involve choices of a spiritual nature.

Each day you are concerned about the physical aspects of living. But how much thought do you take about the spiritual aspects of life – how you treat others, and how you respond to God? Yet, the latter is by far the more important!

We may seem to be just physical beings, but our spiritual component confronts us with spiritual choices we must make every day.

God made us in His spiritual image (Genesis 1:26). We are to become like Him.  That is the purpose of our human lives. We cannot afford to ignore our spiritual purpose for living. If we relegate morality to the scrap-heap, we relegate ourselves there, too.

Relatively few people understand that we have been formed to replicate God’s SPIRITUAL likeness. God’s greatest attribute is love (1 John 4:8,16). That love is the essential motivation behind His nature.  Ideally, it should be ours, too.

But how can we know what love IS? Is it doing what WE want, following our whims and fancies? Or even doing what WE think is right?

No. And this is where the Bible comes in.  Revelation gives us the answers – if we care to know!

We MUST have laws to define what is right!

When societies descend to the level of hedonistic selfishness, they have signed their own death warrant.  Selfish pursuit and self determination do not establish sound social order. They destroy it.

God gave us a law to outlaw selfishness. It is the ten commandments (Exodus 20; Deuteronomy 5). What those commands forbid are any acts which hurt others through doing what you want.

Adultery is selfish. Stealing is selfish. Coveting is selfish. They are acts which God says are against the reasonable interests of others. All those 10 commands are a reflection of what God condemns and, in contrast, an indication of what He would like to see developed in us.

He longs to see us unselfishly love others and love Him. He gave us four commands to pinpoint areas of our behaviour in which we can show love for Him, and six through which we can show love for others.

They are a guideline for moral living. They illustrate the essential foundation of a good life which is based upon an overflowing love for God and an equal care for neighbour (Matthew 22:37-40).

If all people adhered to these principles we would have utopia – an utterly perfect society!

What is to come

As I said, if everyone lived by those principles – both in the letter and by their intent – we would have a perfect world!  And that is what the Bible reveals will eventually come (Revelation 20-22).

God moved the prophet Isaiah to write about that future time: They will neither harm nor destroy on all My holy mountain, for the earth will be full of the knowledge of God (Isaiah 11:9).

The knowledge of God and His morality is revealed in the Bible.  God says the flouting of His law is sin (1 John 3:4), and is punishable by death (Ezekiel 18:4,20; Rom 6:23). But relatively few accept what HE says – even in the so-called Christian church!

Before Isaiah’s utopian dream can occur, much suffering will come first, because the majority reject God’s morality. The ultimate dreadful consequences of that choice are depicted in Jesus’ Olivet prophecy:

If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive (Matthew 24:22).

This nation has never suffered a holocaust, but it is coming. Jesus’ words were directed at those who have promoted the gospel. Do read the warning for yourself in Matthew 24:9-14.

Contemporary prophets have also received warnings from God that America and Britain will suffer destruction and take-over by foreign powers because they have rejected God’s law.^[3] Rejection of God’s moral code for living brings havoc and devastation.

It happened before (Ezekiel 20). It will happen again before the nation is regathered (Ezek 20:41-44).

God does not wish catastrophe on anyone. He is completely caring and loving. He desires the best for everyone. He wants each of us to develop that same altruistic motivation. But every person must choose whether they want to live His way, or pursue the path to destruction. That is the moral choice which faces our nation at this time (2 Chronicles 7:14).

Jesus declared, “If you want to enter life, obey the commandments” (Matthew 19:17). God advises you, “Choose life that both you and your children may live” (Deuteronomy 30:19).

Do you want that life? Whose way will you choose? The right way – God’s? Or your own?

The Imminent Fall of Great Britain

In 1996, God spoke to me about this country’s immediate future. He said this nation had a very short time to choose what is right. It is now too late for Britain!

As each week passes, the boundaries of moral acceptability in Britain are pushed ever further outward. Nowhere is this more evident than in the arts and entertainment.

Bit by bit, evil influences have eroded the moral foundations beneath society, and dragged people deeper into the gutter. Now, immorality is nearing the level of bestiality.

For a long time, society has tempered sexual lust with 'decency'. But now the reins that have held these base cravings at bay are being deliberately untied by evil men. An immoral explosion of nuclear proportions is being unleashed upon the nation!

And many love it! It is what they have been waiting for.

On Monday 22nd July 1996, in a dream at night, the Spirit of God spoke to me. The message was quite simple. There would be something in The Times newspaper the next day that I should see.

At that time, my wife and I didn't receive The Times but a friend of ours did. So I followed up this prompt God gave me and looked at The Times for 23rd July 1996. My eye was immediately drawn to something. God showed me what He wanted me to know about.

I was shocked! On page 7 was a report about "a raunchy £1 million production that promised to be one of the most controversial musicals staged in Britain." It had opened in the West End of London the night of the 22nd, the night God gave me this dream.

The reporter went on to describe how this 'artistic' sodomy was justified by its promoters. "A cast of 18 [curiously also a number that conveys finality in evil] offered simulated sex, 'lipstick lesbians', sadomasochists and naked dancers, but the producers of Voyeurz vehemently dismissed any comparisons with Soho strip shows."

Indeed, there is no comparison! It is far worse! Why? Read on:

"This is a provocative rock musical... It is presented by Michael White, the impresario who shocked theatre audiences more than 25 years ago with his nude revue, Oh! Calcutta!

"It tells the story of a young girl's discovery of her sexuality against a backdrop of a steamy 'anything goes' New York sex club. The character, Jane... develops a passion for watching people make love...  [It’s not love, it’s raw and illicit lust!]

"[She says] 'I become quite compulsive as far as sex goes. I end up watching people have sex.' Voyeurism is what Jane does. She doesn't know what turns her on."

If you don't know, let me tell you. It is an evil spirit – a hellish demon which will take you with it if you follow it.

The play's presenter blatantly said he would like audiences to come out of the show "wanting to have sex with whatever and  whomever". In other words, he wants to lure people into occultic sexual depravity. He is deliberately infecting people with a demonic spirit of perverse sexual lust, but he doesn't know it. I doubt if he would care, even if he did!

"The director of Voyeurz, Michael Lewis, added: 'People will see an erotic evening of entertainment with full nudity and stage sex done in the most tasteful way. [How perverse can you get?!] It does not have a great political message. [That's what he thinks. Its politics are those of the devil who wants total control of your mind!]

"We have not had any complaints from the public and many tell us that they have been waiting for this type of show for 30 years."

As I read this shocking review, the Spirit of God stirred me up within to receive this prophetic statement: "This country has three years left". You can dismiss those as my words, and therefore of no consequence, but they were not my words. The anger of God came over me and for a short while I felt a tiny part of God's vehemence about the evil motives of those who deliberately corrupt unsuspecting or weak people.

Three years is not a long time. But it is long enough to prove a point.  And time is now up! (God gave Britain three years to alter course. She didn’t!)

Have people listened to moral voices in the past three years? No. Only the few. Those who are not already disgusted by the decadent trends in this nation have no intention of changing! So God gives them what they choose. They will see their evil society destroyed.

Those who burn in illicit lust will be destroyed just as were Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 19).

Britain Is Headed for Catastrophe!

This show of sexual depravity promoted in the Whitehall Theatre in London is merely a symptom of moral rot throughout the nation. Apparently, the director of the perverted production Voyeurz claims people "have been waiting for this type of show for 30 years." So, he and the show's presenter are giving them what they want: "an erotic evening of entertainment with full nudity and stage sex done in the most tasteful way."

What is 'tasteful' about illicit sex? What is 'tasteful' about promoting obscene lust? What is 'tasteful' about incitement to rape, and homosexuality? (Because that is the outcome of these permissive indulgences – 'bent' sexual attitudes and cravings!)

This leader in society thinks this debauchery 'tasteful' – and it ought to be clear that a large number of people agree with him! That is why God said this country is finished. It is as depraved as Sodom was!

From the flood of porn and perversion of every description that has found acceptance in our society it is clear that 'taste' has been redefined to accommodate the basest cravings of demented minds. And in the interests of 'freedom', this tidal wave of immorality can’t be stopped because government cannot decide how to stop it or where to draw the line between what is acceptable and what is not. With such moral vacillation, the inexorable plunge continues like women’s necklines – ever downward!

There is one moral legislature that has the final word. That is God's Word, the Bible. Because this nation has rejected that, God has rejected this nation.

To repeat, in 1996 God said, “BRITAIN HAS THREE YEARS LEFT!” That 3-year period is already up. She has had three years to show whether she wants to morally reform. And does she? No way! The British government has even pushed further laws through parliament to lower the age for legalised homosexuality and to further undermine true morality.

Consequently time is extremely SHORT!

No society which welcomes those who promote moral depravity will survive for long. Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed in a day. Likewise, this nation’s collapse will be equally swift.

These are not just my words. God has spoken to His prophets. If people will not heed the words of God's prophets, they will not live.

God gave the late Romanian prophet, Dumitru Duduman, prophecies about the imminent destruction of America (see footnote 3, page 10) Just as America has gone its own self-indulgent way, so has this land. The handwriting is now on the wall.

This nation is to face the same fate as America. She is about to be overcome by foreigners and reduced to a state of slavery. God predicted it long ago in His Word (Deuteronomy 28:15-68). Jeremiah called it the time of Jacob's Trouble (Jeremiah 30:7). Most people are unaware that the English-speaking peoples have descended from the nation of Israel (Jacob).^[4]

God made the British and American peoples among the most influential and prosperous nations of the world for a considerable time. This was a fulfilment of God’s promises to Abraham and his offspring (Gen 12:2,3; 17:1-7; 22:17,18; 27:28,29; 48:19; 49:22).

But, just as our forefathers denied God, so have Israel's modern progeny. They have gone their own ways, and have descended into all kinds of depravity. God declares to them:

Why should I forgive you? Your children have forsaken Me and sworn by gods that are not gods. I supplied all their needs, yet they committed adultery and thronged to the houses of prostitutes. They are well-fed lusty stallions, each neighing for another man's wife (Jeremiah 5:7,8).

That is not all they have done. Read the rest of God's condemnation in that chapter. It is just as relevant today, because their behaviour is equally corrupt.

There is only one path to restitution for Britain – that is to turn back to God and obey His words. But will she? No! Catastrophic events are to befall this nation because of its flagrant sins and the sins of its unbiblical, hypocritical, churches!

Judgement Begins To Fall!

People don't like to talk about judgement or punishment today. Judgement is a dirty or unacceptable word – even in much of the Christian church. By arrogant permissiveness, our complacent society prefers to dismiss it.

But preference never alters fact. Judgement is a fact, and it is beginning to befall our nations!

If you think I am being alarmist or radical, I'm sorry. I'm not sorry that I have stated the fact. I am sorry that you are so blind!

It is ironic that the warnings in the Bible are so little understood by most of those who claim to uphold it. But then, Jesus did prophesy through the pen of Paul that when everyone is complacently talking about peace and safety, destruction would come upon them suddenly, unexpectedly! (1 Thessalonians 5:3.)

To the casual observer it appears that God's judgement is assuaged or deferred. For years, nothing happens. Things continue as they have always done. The evil elements in society carry on their relentless pursuit of hedonistic excess, becoming ever more sexually depraved and violent, satiating their unbridled lust and self interest. And God seems to do nothing except just watch, until.... ....suddenly, their idolatrous little world caves in on them!

It happened that way for Sodom and Gomorrah. It happened to the Aztecs and Incas, the Minoans, and Atlantis. Every depraved civilisation who has ignored God's morality. A day of reckoning comes for each society that ignores its Creator. And ours is looming before our eyes at this very moment!

In former civilisations, the doom and gloom merchants were the prophets God sent. But today, prophets are a joke to most, so He raises up other voices. In our day most doom and gloom merchants are environmentalists and some scientists. Ever since Gordon Rattray Taylor wrote his classic The Biological Time Bomb several decades ago, people have been aware that D-day has been inexorably approaching. Now that day is nearly upon us.

Long before Rattray Taylor, of course, the Eternal and Almighty God predicted the end of human civilisation as we know it, and something Taylor did not know – WHY it would collapse. This warning has been in the pages of the Bible for thousands of years. It is simple but profound. The cause of this collapse, and of all human misery, in one word is..... what few want to mention, except in meaningless banter or jest.... SIN!

Sin exacts a horrendous penalty, and God wants people to turn from sin. If they don't, they will suffer the vicious results of ignoring His warnings.

This nation and others in the world are about to be plunged into the most dreadful times in their history. We are about to see the inexorable judgements against sin come crashing down upon our heads. It is the culmination of sinful ways which humanity has chosen for thousands of years. You will see it come to pass in your lifetime – in the very next few years. In a small way, it has already begun!

Britain has begun to experience environmental upheaval unprecedented in its history – first a drought in the spring of 1997 with plummeting water tables, followed by the exact opposite in the autumn of 2000 – excess rainfall and floods – the worst in living memory!

Some blame global warming. Some blame the Hale-Bopp comet. But let's not look for a scapegoat. We all need the courage and humility to put the blame where it belongs! It is part of the legacy of unrepented sin. Where gross sin is encouraged, God steps back.

Britain is not alone in its position. Other nations face judgement too, principally America. She has been the bastion of the free world, a haven for God’s truth, but her sins are piled high to heaven, and her time for humbling has come. Prophets and righteous men have travelled the length of her land and gone from coast to coast proclaiming the judgement of God to come on America for her sins. But few care to know! Most mock.

Yet, whether people heed or not, in one day^[5] she will burn. This tragic fate is not God's desire, but it is unavoidable when those whom God loves prefer to love sin than to love Him.

Other nations will be reduced to ashes, too. Isaiah prophesied of these in his long collection of prophecies in the Bible, and some of these dark sentences were also given to Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and other Old Testament prophets. Every nation will be humbled before God. No mountain will escape being brought low (Isaiah 40:4).

Come near you nations, and listen; pay attention, you peoples! Let the earth hear, and all that is in it, the world, and all that comes out of it! The Lord is angry with all nations; His wrath is upon all their armies. He will totally destroy them, He will give them over to slaughter (Isaiah 34:1,2).

The timing of these fatal events is the end of this age, when Jesus comes to take His rightful place as Ruler of the world.

All the stars of the heavens will be dissolved and the sky rolled up like a scroll; all the starry host will fall like withered leaves from the vine, like shrivelled figs from the fig-tree (Isaiah 34:4).

20 or 30 years ago, many scientists would have scoffed at the suggestion that earth could be seriously affected by asteroid collision. Now it is a recognised danger! Some scientists estimate that 1,800 to 2,000 asteroids are even now heading towards earth. It is not known precisely when our planet could be hit, but the danger is imminent and very real!

Canada's tabloid, the Sun, of 11th March 1997, reported these words of Dr Anton Kramer, of the Department of Anthropology in Köln University, Germany: "An asteroid of that size [one mile across; which some say was responsible for obliterating life in the dinosaur era] would destroy 90% of mankind within a few months and it would literally bomb the survivors back into the Stone Age. I hope to God I'm not around to see it."

But the chances are, he will be! The asteroid threat is very real and relevant. So is Bible prophecy!

Revelation describes the same event as that in Isaiah 34, which places Isaiah's prophecy in our time:

I watched as He opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to the earth, as late figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. The sky receded like a scroll rolling up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place (Revelation 6:12-14).

These events are precursors to the fierce judgement of God which follows. Every living person who has not turned their life over to God will be struck with terror because of what must come (Rev 6:15-17).^[6]

Why Punishment MUST Come

God MUST display His vehemence against sin. Otherwise He would not be just nor would He be God. But God is just. God is fair. God is righteous. He would not be fair if He allowed rebellion and sin to go unpunished. His ways are honourable. And he will honour those who honour Him, and dishonour those who dishonour Him. God will punish evil:

I will punish the world for its evil, the wicked for their sins. I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty and will humble the pride of the ruthless (Isaiah 13:11).

Since evil reaches its climax at this time, so does the intensity of God's wrath against it. Jesus, arrayed in heavenly splendour, will literally kill the armies who withstand Him, when He returns very soon.

I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice He judges and makes war. Out of His mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations.... He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty (Revelation 19:11,15).

The angel swung his sickle on the earth, gathered its grapes and threw them into the great winepress of God's wrath. They were trampled in the winepress outside the city, and blood flowed out of the press, rising as high as the horses' bridles for a distance of 1,600 stadia [180 miles!] (Revelation 14:19,20).

[The nations'] slain will be thrown out, their dead bodies will send up a stench; the mountains will be soaked with their blood (Isaiah 34:3).

Why does God do this? Because God is a vengeful Being full of blood-lust? No, no, no! The reason is because people must learn the price of sin. They are spiritually complacent, and take sin lightly. But when they see and smell rotting bodies – the result of rebellion against God – they will never forget. An indelible lesson will have been etched in their memory. They will forever remember the consequences of sin. Although the physical means may seem ghastly, the spiritual result will be good!

Israel Punished First

God will deal with Israel first, and other nations second, because He has decreed that He will work out His purposes for Israel and complete what He began in them more than 3½ millennia ago. He chose them to be a model nation that all other peoples could admire and desire to emulate. But they defaulted on their part of the agreement, or covenant, which God made with them (Hebrews 8:7-9; Jeremiah 31:32). They did not obey God. They turned away from Him, and so Yahweh had no option but to turn away from them (Isaiah 59).

But, after this time of impending judgement, God will reverse that situation. Israel will turn back to Him, as many biblical prophecies explain (Jeremiah 31:31-34; Ezekiel 36:26-31), and will become the envy of every nation on earth (Isaiah 2:3; Micah 4:2; Jeremiah 30:18,19), because of the wonderful fruits of righteousness that others will see.

Isaiah foretold this glorious outcome:

In the last days the mountain [symbol of government or kingdom] of the Lord's temple [the glorified saints ruling with Christ over Israel] will be established as chief among the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and all nations will stream to it. Many peoples will come and say, 'Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us His ways, so that we may walk in His paths.' The law [instruction about God's righteous ways] will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem (Isaiah 2:2,3).

God's Word brings healing. The acceptance of His Word will cause peace and joy to abound.

Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped. Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the tongue of the dumb shout for joy. Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert. The burning sand will become a pool, the thirsty ground bubbling springs... And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness... Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away (Isaiah 35:5-10).    

The same marvellous outcome can overtake other nations who have not known Him. But before that can occur, they must be brought down to a recognition of their own wrong behaviour. This is the purpose for God's judgement. It is a tutor. The ghastliness of it all drives the lesson home. Ezekiel explained:

Then you will remember your evil ways and wicked deeds, and you will loathe yourselves for your sins and detestable practices (Ezekiel 36:31).

When people learn between right and wrong and choose to do right, rejecting the wrong, justice will prevail and peace will come. World peace cannot arrive until then. Only God can bring it about, but before that glorious day, judgement must come first. Night always precedes light.

He will judge between the nations... Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they learn war any more (Isaiah 2:4).

God's judgement occurs first. Peace follows. Peace is the eventual result of God's fierce judgement.

No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it (Hebrews 12:11).

It Happened Before

I mentioned earlier about the upset weather conditions Britain has been experiencing. We must not overlook the prophecies in God's Word which definitely decree punishment of this sort upon the nation for its continued disobedience:

The Lord will strike you with wasting disease, with fever and inflammation, with scorching heat and drought, with blight and mildew, which will plague you until you perish (Deuteronomy 28:22).

The sky over your head will be bronze, the ground beneath you iron. The Lord will turn the rain of your country into dust and powder; it will come down from the skies until you are ruined (Deuteronomy 28:23,24).

Whether the curse comes in the form of drought or other extreme weather conditions is immaterial. God has ultimate control over the weather, and floods, hail, storms or drought are decreed upon those who continually refuse to submit to God's righteous ways. God wants to bless those who sincerely seek Him. He doesn't want to bring disaster, but those who refuse to do good will incur judgement.

In the ninth century BC the kingdom of Israel was devastated by a prolonged drought which had its people literally starving to death. The drought, a result of Elijah's prayer, came upon them because of their degeneration into the libertine and brutal practices of Baal worship [which Britain and other nations are repeating today]. The drought was a punishment from God for Israel's disobedience and idolatry...

God did not bring this drought upon Israel in a fit of divine pique. God intervenes personally to punish nations at times in an effort to wake them up spiritually, and to motivate them to forsake their self-destructive activities. In Israel's case they were sinking deeper into Baalism, a religion which eventually destroys its adherents by its own excesses. In adopting Baalism's sexual hedonism, Israel was destroying its own family units on which the strength of any nation is built. (The Lost Ten Tribes of Israel.... Found,^[7] by Steven M Collins, p. 139.)

The same is occurring today. Permissive sexual attitudes have so taken root that families are under threat. The next generation has had its moral basis eroded from under its feet by the torrent of sexual perversion and associated immorality.

Every society falls apart when trust is sacrificed through lawlessness. Trust in marriage is one aspect. Trust in business and commerce is another. Trust of others in society is essential for it to continue functioning properly. When that trust goes, everything else breaks down. Anarchic attitudes take over.

The bottom line of all trust is trust in God. When society sacrifices that through wanton disobedience and hedonistic self-indulgence, its foundation for continued existence is gone. Judgement follows.

It is cause and effect. People reap what they sow in the long run. It may take years to come to a head, but it cannot be avoided. Ultimately, society's sins reap divine retribution.

Judgement by Fire & Sword!

You might think there could be some other way, but there isn't. If there were, God would have used it to avert tragedy, suffering and anguish for humanity. Few understand God's mind.

For with fire and with His sword the Lord will execute judgement upon all men, and many will be those slain by the Lord (Isaiah 66:16).

Don't think God is unfair. He is not.

They have chosen their own ways, and their souls delight in their abominations; so I also will choose harsh treatment for them and will bring upon them what they dread. For when I called, no-one answered, when I spoke,  no-one listened. They did evil in my sight and chose what displeases Me (Isaiah 66:3,4).

So, God has no option but to administer judgement – for their own good, and for the good of any who would be so foolish to follow such perversity.

We must not think that such judgement is decreed only on those who do not declare the name of God (except in cursing). Churches contain many who violate His ways.^[8] They can learn no other way than through harsh discipline.

In the Bible, God employs the symbol of women to represent churches, and Zion or Jerusalem as an allegory of the Church also:

The Lord will wash away the filth of the women of Zion; He will cleanse the bloodstains [metaphor for sins of the Church] of Jerusalem by a spirit of judgement and a spirit of fire (Isaiah 4:4).

Don't follow church leaders without first judging all they say against God's Word. For there are many who wield power and hold leadership positions for selfish and  disreputable ends:⁸

The Lord enters into judgement against the elders and leaders of His people: 'It is you who have ruined My vineyard [symbol of God’s people, whom he ‘wanted to cultivate’]... (Isaiah 3:14).

The Lord says, 'The women of Zion are haughty, walking along with outstretched necks, flirting with their eyes, tripping along with mincing steps, with ornaments jingling on their ankles (v 16).

Any church which engenders pride in its members is doing the devil's work! And there are many who are guilty before God! They will not go unpunished.

Therefore the Lord will bring sores on the heads of the women of Zion... [and] will make their scalps bald. In that day the Lord will snatch away their finery: the bangles and headbands and crescent necklaces, the ear-rings and bracelets and veils, the head-dresses and ankle chains and sashes, the perfume bottles and charms, the signet rings and nose rings, the fine robes and the capes and cloaks, the purses and mirrors, and the linen garments and tiaras and shawls. [The length of the list emphasises the lengths to which humans will rely upon anything other than God for security and pleasure.] Instead of fragrance there will be a stench; instead of a sash, a rope; instead of well- dressed hair, baldness; instead of fine clothing, sackcloth; instead of beauty, branding. Your men will fall by the sword.... The gates of Zion will lament and mourn; destitute, she will sit on the ground (Isaiah 3:16-26). They have brought disaster upon themselves (v 9b).

Such is the tragic price of haughtiness. And how many there are who have pride – even in their religion! No, churches will not escape this judgement to come. They will be in the centre of this blaze!

You may be alarmed at this judgement of God. God is a consuming fire (Hebrews 12:29). But everyone who does not acknowledge Him and the holiness of His ways must be brought into such judgement.

The Judgement Decreed on Britain

Very few people take much notice of God's words to us in the Bible. Fewer still study the tomes of the Old Testament. Unbelievers are not interested, and the majority of Christians think they are for yesteryear – that we have now moved on. Millions assume that what these books contain is irrelevant to us today.

Nothing could be further from the truth!

Jesus said: "Don't think I have come to do away with the Old Testament writings. I have not come to annul their contents, but to fill them up to the full." (Matt 5:17, paraphrased.) This has several meanings, one of which is that He will fulfil all their contents.

If these scriptures were inapplicable to us now, why would they have been preserved? They wouldn't! No, they are not irrelevant. They are highly applicable! These books contain prophecies which have been preserved because they are about to be fulfilled in these end times. You and I are living in the most turbulent times in history. We are about to witness the most awesome fulfilment of Bible prophecies which have seemingly laid dormant for millennia.

Ezekiel's Warning

To take one example, consider the words of Ezekiel. If we live in the 'western' nations, what he recorded is particularly pertinent. His words were recorded for Israel (Ezekiel 3:1,4). This truth has been hidden from the majority, but many of the English- speaking peoples are direct descendants of the 'lost' ten tribes of Israel, together with the other democratic western peoples such as France, the Benelux and Scandinavian countries.

Ezekiel received 'his' prophecies between about 593-571 BC, while he was a captive in Babylon. The nation of Israel had split into two kingdoms after Solomon's reign. This division was never healed and Israel continued as two national entities for two to three hundred years. When Ezekiel wrote, the southern kingdom of Judah, with capital at Jerusalem, had been conquered by the Babylonians and exiled from their homeland. The book of Jeremiah contains a lot of information leading up to their final downfall in 586 BC.

However, about 135 years before, the northern kingdom of Israel had been conquered by the Assyrians, and removed from their land. They were by far the greater number of Israel's progeny. They comprised ten tribes, whereas the much smaller kingdom of Judah held in Babylon was formed from only three.

But Ezekiel's words were intended for the whole nation of Israel, not just for those who later came to be thought of as Israel, although they were merely a fragment – the Jews.

That Ezekiel was not just sent to warn Judah – the Jews – can be seen from chapter 4. He is told to portray bearing the sins of the people in two stages, first for Israel and second for Judah (Ezek 4:5,6).

Moreover, by Ezekiel's time, the greater numbers of Israelites were dispersed throughout many regions, on their divinely-appointed journey to other lands. Ezekiel was unable to reach all these people to whom his prophecies were given. He wrote them down and they are still with us today. God intended that, because they are for our time, too!

Ezekiel's audience is you and me, and the millions of Caucasian Israelites who live in Britain, North America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and other primary 'Bible-promoting' English-derived nations.

The words that God told Ezekiel were to be 'buried' for centuries, preserved in writing, resurrected in our time, to be repeated to those on whom the end of this age has come.

God's words to Ezekiel were unequivocal:

Son of Man, set your face against the mountains [symbol for nations, as well as for safe places of refuge] of Israel; prophesy against them and say: 'O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Sovereign Lord. This is what the Sovereign Lord says to the mountains and hills, to the ravines and valleys: I am about to bring a sword against you, and I will destroy your high places [places of idolatrous worship]. Your altars [churches] will be demolished and your incense altars [places of worship] will be smashed; and I will slay your people in front of your idols. I will lay the dead bodies of the Israelites in front of their idols, and I will scatter your bones around your altars. Wherever you live, the towns will be laid waste and the high places demolished, so that your altars will be laid waste and devastated, your idols smashed and ruined, your incense altars broken down, and what you have made wiped out. Your people will fall slain among you, and you will know that I am the Lord (Ezekiel 6:2-7).

This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Strike your hands together and stamp your feet and cry out "Alas!" because of all the wicked and detestable practices of the house of Israel, for they will fall by the sword [war], famine and plague (Ezek 6:11). And they will know that I am the Lord, when their people lie slain (v 13).

This terrible destruction decreed is for one purpose. It is not an explosion of uncontrolled anger on God's part. It is divinely controlled to cause His people to come to know Him, something so few do at this time.

The destruction may seem to be totally out of control from our limited human perspective. Multiple millions dying of famine, equal numbers perishing through disease or germ warfare, and other millions killed by war does not seem divinely controlled. When these horrifying scenes come to pass before your eyes [say] 3 years from now, you can be forgiven for thinking God is absent from these events. But He is not.

There is a side of God's character that we sinful mortals do not appreciate. It is that side of His nature which takes vehement exception to gross moral rebellion, and which gives vent to these expressions of divine fury. But they are far from uncontrolled. They were foreseen and planned millennia before you and I were born. For reasons we cannot fully understand now, they are essential to the purpose God is working out. They will foster the greatest return to God the world has ever seen up to this time.

God's anger will be demonstrably felt. It is anger against the escalating wickedness in our land: against the moral filth, the sexual debauchery, uncontrolled lust, evil sensuality, perverse magazine and video porn and sexual deviancy. It is anger against the flagrant casting aside of values which protect the sacrosanct act of sexual union between heterosexual partners who bind themselves to each other until death. It is anger against the cheapening of human life, against immoral trends which have robbed it of true spiritual meaning and reduced it to animalistic levels. It is anger against human degradation in all its tawdry forms. It anger against selfishness, materialism, and idolatry. It is anger against witchcraft, necromancy, Satanism, and occult curiosity. It is anger against everything that the British people (and others – Britain is not unique in its sins) have chosen in place of Him. They have rejected their true God. For that He must reject them until they acknowledge their moral rebellion and depravity.

You may regard yourself as a respectable person. But don't kid yourself. No-one remains untainted by the immoral plague that has swept through our land. All have been corrupted (Rom 3:10-12). If you think your 'middle-class respectability' endears you to God, your self-righteous arrogance condemns you, too.

The Time Is NOW!

Not long ago, God spoke to me and told me to read Ezekiel. My wife was told to read Jeremiah. Why? Because judgement is at the very door! Then He told me to write about His judgement, which is what I am doing here. I was not intending to do so before He spoke. Clearly, there is an urgent reason. We are now entering the time of judgement which must befall this nation and its Church. Why? Because of its unrepented sins. Hypocrisy is rife within the Church.

This is the Word of the Lord to the nation, NOW:

Son of Man, this is what the Sovereign Lord says to the land of Israel: The end! The end has come upon the four corners of the land. The end is now upon you and I will unleash My anger against you. I will judge you according to your conduct and repay you for all your detestable practices. I will not look with pity on you or spare you; I will surely repay you for your conduct and for the detestable practices among you. Then you will know that I am the Lord (Ezekiel 7:2-4).

This is for real! These are not just empty words. They are loaded with punishment. They will happen!

This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Disaster! An unheard-of disaster is coming. The end has come! The end has come! (Ezekiel 7:5,6).

Whether you believe my words or not, the end has come upon Britain. It is finished as a nation. It is finished as a cohesive, stable, independent, sovereign, economically-viable country. Disaster is decreed! BRITAIN IS FINISHED!!

Those are not my just words. They are those of the God whom I serve as a prophet. He has decreed this end upon our lovely land. I do not like it any more than you do. But we have no other option now. Wickedness is reaping its harvest of retribution. The people of this nation have not chosen to turn back to God and live by His law. Judgement must arrive to enable them to make that decision willingly.

Doom has come upon you – you who dwell in the land. The time has come, the day is near; there is panic, not joy, upon the mountains. I am about to pour out My wrath on you and spend My anger against you; I will judge you according to your conduct and repay you for all your detestable practices. I will not look on you with pity or spare you; I will repay you in accordance with your conduct and the detestable practices among you. Then you will know that it is I the Lord who strikes the blow (Ezekiel 7:7-9).

Those who want to kid themselves that there are no detestable practices in this land which warrant its utter destruction are spiritually blind and stupid. They may be among the intelligentsia, but their wisdom is foolishness to God.

The day is here! It has come! Doom has burst forth, the rod has budded, arrogance has blossomed! Violence has grown into a rod to punish wickedness; none of the people will be left, none of that crowd – no wealth, nothing of value. The time has come, the day has arrived. Let not the buyer rejoice nor the seller grieve, for wrath is come upon the whole crowd (Ezekiel 7:10-12).

This land is about to feel God's hand of judgement upon it!

There will be many who will protest that I am being alarmist; that I am even crazy. No, I am not crazy. If you do not believe these words, it is you who are crazy. The evidence is all around us to be seen in the vileness of human conduct and in what people are happy to tolerate on TV. You can read it in the Press each day.

In 1997, a visiting tourist in London went for a midnight stroll from her hotel and was accosted by eight young boys. She was not afraid because, as she said, "They were only babes." Yet, these 'babes' stripped this woman in the most degrading way, gang raped her and then flung her naked into a nearby canal, ignoring her pleas that she could not swim. The crime has sickened the hearts of decent people.

And intellectuals still argue that the diet of crime, violence and deviant sexuality depicted on our TV screens has nothing to do with such immoral actions in society's youth! What utter fools! The fools who lead us are leading this nation to oblivion!

Youths oppress My people... O My people, your guides lead you astray; they turn you from the path (Isaiah 3:12).

Who do you think is right? God? Or this society's intellectuals? I know whom I will believe.

Because evil ways have taken hold of so many:

The Lord takes His place in court; He rises to judge the people. The Lord enters into judgement against the elders and leaders of His people: It is you who have ruined My vineyard (Isaiah 3:13,14).

Yes, our nation has been ruined by those who are prominent in society. They are corrupted by wealth and ambition. They are motivated by materialistic 'ethics'. They exalt human rationalism and deify humanism. Is it any wonder we are seeing the results of this deceptive idolatry? It is not pleasing. It is pernicious.

Therefore destruction is decreed upon the whole land. Afterwards, they will choose God's ways.

Outside is the sword, inside are the plague and famine; those in the country will die by the sword, and those in the city will be devoured by famine and plague. They will throw their silver into the streets, and their gold will be an unclean thing. Their silver and gold will not be able to save them in the day of the Lord's wrath... it has made them stumble into sin (Ezekiel 7:15, 19).

Calamity upon calamity will come. (v 26). I will deal with them according to their conduct, and by their own standards I will judge them. Then they will know that I am the Lord (v 27).

As I said earlier, this prophecy was not for the Jews alone. It was for ISRAEL (Ezek 7:2). Israel was a vastly bigger ethnic conglomerate than just the Jewish people. The Jews are only a minority of all the Israelite progeny. And Israel today can be traced to Britain, America, and other major industrial nations of NW Europe. They have enjoyed unprecedented national wealth and freedoms. These are a partial fulfilment of the promises originally made to Abraham and passed on through Isaac to Jacob's descendants (Genesis 17:5-7; 22:17,18; 27:28,29; 35:11; 48:19; 49:1-28).

God made His covenants with these people, hence the reason these nations have been the main ones responsible for preserving and promoting biblical truths, distributing Bibles throughout the world and sending Christian missionaries to the ends of the earth.

God's Laws Repudiated!

Previously, God had said to Ezekiel:

This is what the Sovereign Lord says: This is Jerusalem, which I have set in the centre of the nations, with countries all around her. [She was meant to be an example of good conduct for others to emulate.] Yet in her wickedness, she has rebelled against My laws and decrees more than the nations and countries around her. She has rejected My laws and has not followed My decrees (Ezekiel 5:5,6).

This was true of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, but it is also a type or allegory of the Christian Church today. Jerusalem was the place where God had chosen to place His name (2 Chron 6:6). It was the centre for the promotion of God's truth. It was where God could be found by any who sought Him. That has all changed since Jesus' coming. Now, Jerusalem is no longer the centre of true worship. Truth ought now to be preserved by the Church of God.

But in many ways the Church has failed in its moral duty, both towards God and as an example for the nation. It does not uphold the law of God. It has been deceived that the law was done away at the cross and that grace gives Christians a licence for immorality. Oh, it won't espouse this heresy openly. It is subtle. But it does not live by God's law nor uphold God's decrees, except where they are so obvious that it would be inconveniently exposed for flagrant violation.

You don't believe me? Then consider these aspects of God's decrees which it repudiates:

• Observing the true Sabbath on the seventh day of the week. It has replaced this with Sunday worship.
   

• Keeping the festivals God commanded: Passover, Days of Unleavened Bread, Pentecost, Feast of Trumpets, Day of Atonement, Festival of Tabernacles, and the Last Great Day (Lev 23; Deut 16). Instead of these it has substituted pagan derivatives such as Christmas, Easter, and days in blasphemous veneration of human saints (against God's express command in Deuteronomy 12:30,31).
   

• Observing the dietary laws God gave Israel for the good of their own health (Leviticus 11; Deut 14). We wonder why we are victims of so many diseases!
   

• Refusing to charge usury (interest) on loans (Leviticus 25:36; Deuteronomy 23:19). Is it any wonder that people are collapsing under the heavy burdens imposed by our banking system that charges interest from the poor to line the pockets of the rich?
   

• Resting the land every seven years (Lev 25:1-7). If the nation lived by this principle, it would outlaw the industrial system which exploits people and makes machines out of men, dehumanising them. People would retain a respect for the land, and see the need to grow their own produce. (Market gardeners and commercial producers of vegetables and staple grains would not have any income in the seventh year. Obedience to this law would end the rape of the land under the industrialisation of agriculture, in which the system not only depletes fertility but also makes many farmers bankrupt!)
   

• Cancelling all debts every 50 years (Lev 25:8-13). If this law was observed nationally, it would end the great disparity between the mega-rich and the ultra-poor. It would cause land to be retained within families, thereby removing the endless poverty trap of the poorest. It would dramatically reduce financial oppression, and would deter the building of cities like we have today where there are gross problems of pollution, poverty, over-crowding, homelessness, crime, and other vices.

God's laws were made for the protection of society, but humanity has never viewed them that way. Instead, people have looked for ways around them, so they could exploit others.

For this repudiation of God's law, God will repudiate mankind by letting him suffer the awful consequences of his violation. This is God's just judgement. Judgement begins with the Church. The Church in this nation will have to bear the consequences of its rejection of God's laws of love.

Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I Myself am against you, Jerusalem [the Church], and I will inflict punishment on you in the sight of the nations. Because of all your detestable idols, I will do to you what I have never done before and will never do again (Ezekiel 5:8,9).

This unprecedented time of calamity is known as the Great Tribulation. Jesus predicted it in Matthew 24:21. Nationally, it is the time of Jacob's trouble (Jer 30:7). But this very punishment will bring his salvation (same verse).

What is to Befall This Land

Therefore in your midst fathers will eat their children, and children will eat their fathers. I will inflict punishment on you and will scatter all your survivors to the winds (Ezekiel 5:10).

What Ezekiel depicts here is coming! Make no mistake, sin will be punished (Galatians 6:7). National sins will be punished nationally. The established Church in this nation is morally corrupt and God has no time for it – just as Jesus had no time for the Pharisees. It will not escape this holocaust, for its own hypocrisy.

Let us not think that God's grace given through Jesus Christ is an excuse for self-willed rebellion and refusal to live by His laws. Grace turned into licence will reap greater fury!

I Myself will withdraw My favour; I will not look on you with pity or spare you. A third of your people will die of the plague or perish by famine inside you; a third will fall by the sword outside your walls; and a third I will scatter to the winds and pursue with drawn sword... then they will know that I have spoken in My zeal (Ezek 5:11-13).

Never forget the reason for God's severity. It is not alien to His goodness. It is to draw you closer to Him to experience His goodness:

Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in His kindness [by being obedient to His Word] (Romans 11:22).

Doubtless some will argue vehemently against my claim that two thirds of our people are to perish so ignominiously. They prefer to apply these words just to Jerusalem in the sixth century BC. Ezekiel's prophecy was partially fulfilled in Jerusalem's fall, but God is clear that it is a prophecy also for our day. Ezekiel was not a prophet to just the city of Jerusalem. He was appointed a prophet to the whole house of Israel (3:7,17). He never got his message to all Israel in his lifetime. He reached some, but millions of his countrymen had emigrated thousands of miles away. His prophecy is for today. Zechariah confirms that his words are still for the future, (Zechariah wrote 520-480 BC):

"In the whole land," declares the Lord, "two thirds will be struck down and perish; yet one third will be left in it. This third I will bring into the fire; I will refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on My name and I will answer them; I will say, "They are My people," and they will say, "The Lord is our God." (Zechariah 13:8,9).

That has never been fulfilled. It is to come. God help you to heed this warning!
