CfaN Christ for all Nations
Reinhard’s
New Booklet
On the 8th
March 2008, God gave me this dream:
Reinhard’s new booklet.
Reinhard Bonnke had produced a new booklet. It was different from
everyone else’s. It was larger than A6 and narrower, but smaller than
A5. It was designed to look different.
He was trying to appeal or impress (vanity), drawing the attention of
people. The strategy worked – I was wanting to read it. Inside, however,
although the typeface was attractive, it was just words.
God Spoke About Reinhard
When God speaks, He does
so for important reasons – reasons that are lost on the majority. The
whole world is in deception (Rev 12:9). People do not see; they do not
perceive spiritual realities, unless God enlightens them in their
darkness. So, God has to reveal. One of His avenues of revelation is
through prophets. I think you should already know that He speaks and
reveals Himself through dreams and visions to prophets on a regular
basis (Num 12:6). He is the same today as in yesteryear (Heb 13:8).
However, the majority of
Christians do not listen to God’s prophets. They have not been educated
in truth, merely half truths. And one of the subtle lies of the enemy is
to substitute prophets with the prophetic.
Many have been taught
that prophets have been replaced by your own ability to receive directly
from God through the spirit. While it is true that you can receive some
things from God this way, you can’t receive all that God wants for you
via this route. That’s why He has established a fivefold ministry which
still includes prophets. If you think it doesn’t – and that the need for
prophets has been superseded in the Church – then you deny the Word of
God.
Jesus is adamant that He
is perfecting His Body of the Church, and that until it is ready, He
will use prophets as His mouthpiece of preparation. Notice it:
And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets... for
the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying
of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of
the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man... to the fulness of
Christ (Eph 4:11-13).
Have the people of God
all come to the unity of the faith yet? NO. There is terrific disunity!
Has the Church been
perfected yet? NO. There is much need for greater spiritual maturity.
She is far from perfect! If she were perfect, Jesus would have returned,
and His Millennium would have begun!
The Church Age still
continues (for not much longer, however!) and God still speaks to
prophets.
In the dream above, God
spoke through an avenue that most reject. That is often God’s way.
What Is God Saying?
Only those who accept me
will accept what God says to me. Most do what Jesus warned against:
He who hears you hears Me, he who rejects you rejects Me, and
he who rejects Me rejects Him who sent Me (Luke 10:16).
For the very few who will
listen, here is what God is saying through the above dream.
Meaning:
The dream symbolically reveals the human ethos behind Reinhard’s
outreach.
Comment:
Reinhard’s writings are very basic. They contain merely elementary
Christian teaching, and don’t give people specific, practical Bible
teaching to build up the body of Christ. They are part of an exercise in
marketing. To God, that’s not good enough.
That is what I wrote down
the morning after the dream was given. You can reject that if you want,
or you can ponder the words, to consider like Mary did, what God is
trying to tell you.
Mary was unique. If you
see how she reacted to what the angel said, she was unlike others:
But Mary kept all these things and pondered them in her heart
(Luke 2:19).
She didn’t think that
what had been revealed was too ‘way out’ to accept. She didn’t balk in
unbelief at God’s revelation. She simply said:
Behold, the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me
according to your word (Luke 1:38).
Contrast her response to
that of the elevated priest Zacharias, who didn’t believe, though he was
‘religious’ (1:18). He was silenced for his insolence (1:20). And anyone
today, who stands in the way of a prophet of God will be dealt with
equally. When God speaks through a messenger – prophet or angel – He
doesn’t take kindly to scepticism!
Your rejection of the
messenger will get you rejected by God! He’ll give you time, but not
long. And if, after those days, you still do not heed and change, He
exacts judgement. He punishes every son He loves (Heb 12:6).
Reinhard, you have fallen! Repent and do the first works, or else
Jesus will remove your lampstand from its place!
Why Aren’t People Ready?
You read in Luke 1 of how
God sent a prophet to reach wayward humanity before Jesus came the first
time. Why send a prophet? Why not just send Jesus?
Besides fulfilling
prophetic scriptures of the messenger to prepare the way (Mal 4:5,6; Is
40:3), that’s the way God works. He sends a prophet when He has
earthshaking news to announce.
God predicted
earthshaking things to occur at the end, shortly before Jesus comes the
second time. He sends prophetic messengers, which is why the devil is so
busy raising up his own counterfeits (Matt 24:11) to muddy the waters
and bring true prophets into disrepute. That’s what’s happened!!
What was John the
Baptist’s commission?
...to make ready a people prepared for the Lord (Luke 1:17).
Are people ready today?
NO. The parable of the ten virgins or bridesmaids in Matthew 25 reveals
ALL are sleeping! (25:5.) The majority don’t perceive spiritual
realities. They don’t recognise the prophets God is using. They have
been side-tracked by men who have come in Jesus’ name, but who do not
give the whole truth of God. And they have been fed lies and half-truths
that have misled them and put them to sleep. So the cry goes out:
Awake! Awake! (Is 52:1.)
False ministers rule in
most churches:
...who have said to you, “Lie down, that we may walk over
you.” And you have laid your body like the ground, and as the street,
for those who walk over (Is 51:23).
The abomination of Church
authority in ALL organised churches is fittingly reprimanded here. We
have made it amply plain in the book God’s Church – Whose Authority?
but do people care? NO. Most don’t; they care about physical fun and
frolicking more than about the spiritual things of God.
In short, then, why
aren’t people ready for Jesus to come? Because they do not heed the
words of God’s prophets (and, to a lesser extent, heed other ministries,
where they are speaking for God). And in this end time, the days of
Elijah, when God has spoken through another John to restore
righteousness and declare of earthshaking change very close, that
prophetic voice is being ignored. Therefore, instead of restoration,
judgement falls.
God does not take ‘NO’
for an answer!
Remember Therefore...
God has given a number of
revelations about Reinhard’s work, but all have been ignored. (See
articles about CfaN and Reinhard listed at the end.)
I like Reinhard. He is a
wonderful man, very likeable, loving, zealous in his own way, hard
working and well-meaning. But I cannot, as a prophet of God, step back
from my duties. For the ‘uninitiated’, those are outlined in Isaiah
58:1, Isaiah 57:14, Isaiah 62:10, Isaiah 62:6-7, Isaiah 61:1-2, Isaiah
59:19, Isaiah 54:17 Isaiah 40:3, and Jeremiah 1:9-10.
Everything not in line
with God’s will is to be made straight, or God will disown it as His. It
is not His while it is impure, defiled and deformed.
If those whom He has
entrusted with preserving His sacred things do not treat them with the
holy respect they deserve, He will snatch them away, and remove the
lampstand from its place.
Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do
the first works
[of placing God’s truth
above all else], or else I will come to you quickly and remove your
lampstand from its place... (Rev 2:5).
Ministers and believers
don’t see from where they have fallen. They don’t see that they have
departed from the purity of God’s truths, to accept half- truths,
heresies and syncretism.
There are prophetic
warnings all the way back in Exodus about this:
Then the Lord said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the
children of Israel: ‘You have seen that I have talked with you from
heaven
[Moses was a prophet; God communicated with him; so the people were to
listen carefully to his words; likewise with God’s true prophets today],
you shall not make anything to be with Me – gods of silver or gods of
gold you shall not make for yourselves [but syncretism HAS taken
place!]. An altar of earth [depicting humility] you shall make
for Me, and you shall sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and your
peace offerings... [and] in every place where I cause My name to be
remembered, I will come to you and I will bless you. And if you make Me
an altar of stone [something more enduring and permanent, but built
by man], you shall not build it of hewn stone; for if you use your
tool on it, you have profaned it...’ ” (Ex 20:22-25.)
Among the many things God told me, He said:
"
Every time man handles the Word of God, he defiles it.
We have a Church today
that is FAR AWAY from the purity of observance God established in the
faith once delivered to the saints. No wonder God said:
"
“I am not found in the institutions of men”
but in the wilderness with Elijah (Lk 1:80).
Men have built with hewn stone, to make what they have done
more permanent, as an edifice that glorifies themselves. By so doing,
they have taken away from the Word of God.
Human beings have got their scissors out and cut out what
they don’t want from God’s Word!
Reinhard sanctions one of Satan’s so-called
‘deep secrets’. It’s so ‘deep’ that the majority have been deceived
by it.
I’m not just talking about what the Catholic Church has done
in removing the 2nd commandment against idols, and dividing the last one
into two to compensate for the loss, and in changing the fourth
commandment about the Sabbath day. There are more subtle changes.
What’s Happened To Holiness?!
God emphasises HOLINESS in His Word. He began this process of
re-education in Exodus. He wants a holy people, who do not live by
compromised spiritual practices or teachings. You can see that from
Exodus 19:5-6. Take a look at it and read it yourself.
Look at how God emphasised how holy He is in relation to us
as spiritually defiled humans. Read Exodus 19:10-13.
God does not terrify you like He terrified Israel, because He
wants a people who willingly obey Him. Moses said to Israel:
Do not fear; for God has come to test you, and that His fear
may be before you, so that you may not sin (Ex 20:20).
To His people today, God has come to test you. But, like
Israel, most do not have proper fear of God. They choose the way of sin
to righteousness. I mean in the Church, not merely outside it! And
evangelists, preachers, so-called Bible teachers, they all peddle
defiled teachings that downgrade God’s holiness.
As in Exodus 23:20-24, God has sent His Angel before you to
keep you in the way and to bring you into the place which God has
prepared. But people do not do as adjured:
Beware of Him and obey His voice; do not provoke Him, for He
will not pardon your transgressions; for My name is in Him (Ex
23:21).
You shall not bow down to their gods
[the gods of human derivation, influenced by Satan], nor serve
them, nor do according to their works; but you shall utterly
overthrow them and break down their sacred pillars (Ex 23:24).
But the sacred pillars of
heathen origin are still standing fully erect and people bow down to
them in churches. As I mentioned in Reinhard Bonnke And...
Antichrist, these include: the inclusion of Easter (worship of
Ishtar goddess of fertility) instead of God’s Passover; the utilisation
of Christmas (worship of the winter solstice and rebirth of the sun god)
instead of the Feast of Trumpets picturing the return of Christ; the
establishment of hierarchic domination in churches under human lordship
instead of the Lordship of Jesus through His Spirit; and many other
abuses!
HOLINESS TO THE LORD (Ex
28:36) was what God emphasised to His prophet, Moses. Today we have a
substitute: HUMANISM FOR MAN.
How we approach God must
be according to HIS commands, not our own.
It shall be to you holy
for the Lord (Ex 30:37).
But church leaders don’t
want what God says is holy. They prefer the human substitute that SATAN
has inspired and cunningly used to replace it.
God says:
Surely MY Sabbaths you
shall keep... (Ex 31:13).
So man profanes God’s
Word and responds:
Surely Sunday we shall
keep instead!
What will be the eventual
outcome? Here it is:
...that person shall be cut off from among his people... he
shall surely be put to death (Ex 31:14, 15).
Why? Why was God so
emphatic? Because:
Surely MY Sabbaths you shall keep because it is a sign
between Me and you throughout your generations, THAT YOU MAY KNOW THAT I
AM THE LORD WHO SANCTIFIES YOU (Ex 31:13).
When you disregard the
holiness of God, and the holiness (and inviolability and ‘unalteredness’)
of what He has established for His people to obey, you lose sight of
Him, of His will, of His plan, and of His holiness. It is a gradual
process, but inexorable.
You shall keep the Sabbath, therefore, for it is holy to
you... (Ex 31:14).
Humanity says:
No, there’s no need to. Jesus is our Rest. We can keep any
day to Him, or worship every day of the week. We don’t need to set aside
a day of the week like God deemed correct for Israel. That’s legalism to
do that. We are liberated...!
Oh yeah?! Ever heard of
Satan’s so-called deep secrets? (Rev 2:24.) The NKJV renders that as
“the depths of Satan”.
Yes, the teaching that
distorts the Rest of Hebrews 4 to imply that you can disregard a
commandment of God and utterly profane it, is part of the depth of
Satan’s deception!
But people are “a
stiff-necked people” (Ex 34:9) and they prefer the human substitute
inspired by the devil instead of the authentic observance of God.
Instead of HOLINESS TO
THE LORD (Ex 39:30), people prefer HUMANISM FOR US.
God says:
You shall hallow it (Ex 40:9).
Man says:
We don’t need to.
God placed His testimony
in the holiest place (Ex 40:20). Reinhard needs to learn from
that. God still regards all His Commandments for mankind as UTTERLY HOLY
– sacrosanct! Forget what men have said about His law with their
devious, cunning and appealing arguments in favour of a ‘Rest in Christ’
that spiritualises away the fourth Commandment of God, in order to
justify human tradition that originated with Emperor Constantine, a mere
man!
Why not dispense with the
commandment not to commit adultery, justifying it with the excuse that
we are Jesus’ wife, so it doesn’t matter what we do on earth in the
physical? Why not say we can steal, cheat covet, or bear false witness
against our neighbour so long as we are ‘in Christ’? Because who would
‘buy’ it?
Do you see the folly of
the logic? It’s only that one command that men use devious
pseudospiritual argument to justify circumventing. They don’t try
fooling you with equally specious arguments annulling any of the other
commandments (except the Catholic Church over God’s command against
having idols). Satan knows it wouldn’t work. They would get shown up for
the deceivers that they are. They are deceived themselves!
God Requires Diligence
One of the lesser known
commands of God was this. It comes with a promise:
...diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what
is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His
statutes,
[and] I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on
the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you (Ex
15:26).
If we are no longer
diligent to heed further words of truth from God, should it surprise us
that God lets the diseases of Egypt afflict us? Doesn’t He want us all
to heed His voice more than anything else? His voice calls us to
repentance, to obedience, to trust and devotion.
A prophetic word in one
of our recent meetings emphasised:
-
Commitment,
-
Zeal,
-
Love, and
-
Devotion.
That’s what God looks for
in us all. Does He see it in you? He’s not keen for our diligence in
human ways, like making the biggest splash in public appeal. He’s not
out to make us popular, nor is He in showbusiness or politics.
Evangelists who think they can shimmy up to the ethos of those
endeavours need to think again. Jesus said:
My kingdom is not of this
world... (Jn 18:36).
God is interested most of
all in our individual, humble devotion to Him, an unswerving commitment
to trust and obey Him in all things, even when it doesn’t ‘pay’ us to do
so. Sacrifice hurts! But sacrifice is the only way into closeness with
God.
When we are pleasing
ourselves, we are not pleasing Him. The easy route is not the way into
the kingdom of
God. The
narrow, difficult, restrictive way – at least, it looks that way
to us, humanly – is the right way. The wrong way is doing what the
majority do.
It takes commitment,
zeal, love for God, and pure devotion to accept true concepts instead of
false. Just look at the Sabbath command as an example. The reason most
keep Sunday instead is because it goes with the flow of the world.
Keeping the Sabbath is to swim upstream. It’s not easy.
But unless you are
diligent to obey the voice of your God in everything He asks of you, He
will not be pleased. Is a perfect, loving, holy God going to accept you
while you downgrade His holiness, insist on going your own way,
following the world’s customs for the sake of expedience? Of course not.
He’s looking for a pure
and perfect heart in you. Is He seeing it? Are you prepared to accept
all truth? Or do you only want ‘truth’ that pleases you, not what
pleases Him?
Evangelists, apostles,
prophets and pastors are no different. God also tests each one regarding
truth. As He now places new truth before Reinhard and many other
prominent evangelists, He is watching to see whether they will put
themselves and their pride first, or God and the purity of His truth.
The Test
The test is: will you
accept this last restoration? The truth that God promised He would send
Elijah to restore? (Mal 4:5,6.) Or cling to human tradition (like the
‘men of God’ in Jesus’ time) and reject the new revelation the prophet
brings?
Will you embrace new truth even though
it means the loss of all that you have established over the years? Are
you prepared to give up all for the Kingdom of
God? Or
does your ministry, your ‘following’, your agenda
mean more to you than this truth God is now presenting before the world?
Human inertia must not
prevent any evangelist moving on with God. What good is it if you were
to gain the whole world, but forfeit your own eternal life in the
process? Pride in achievement is a barrier.
Unless you... become as little children, you will by no means
enter the kingdom of heaven (Matt 18:3).
We can take nothing with
us from this life into the next, except our motivation and character.
Brian Doerksen’s worship
song pleads humbly:
...Purify my heart
Let me be as gold, pure
gold...
The price, however, is
high. It means the loss of everything.
Perhaps you can understand now the imagery of the dream given on 19th
September 2000 about Reinhard’s assassination and the splayed aluminium
pellet, and my presence. (In Some Pitfalls Of Reinhard Bonnke’s
Ministry.)
